I'm a bit puzzeled by this picture. It's supposed to be from 2011, but the superstructure and hatch covers are still coated with shop primer and the RoRo ramp has no visible rust. All in all the ship looks like it is in it's last stage of construction. Does anyone know more?

Brilliant ! What happens after IMO 9999999 when we come to it?

We are already past that point. I believe 9999993 was issued to an LNG carrier that's on order, and new IMO numbers now use the series starting with 1 that had already been in use for yachts:

Hello,
A number is visible on the accomodations: perhaps 7417006 ?
This is the IMO number of a supply vessel registrered at Lagos, REGINA (1975/651 gt) ex MANTA ex REALENGO, but I cannot find any photos to compare.
Regards,
Yvon

REALENGO was one of a series of sisters delivered by Atlantic Marine of Jacksonville, Florida. A handful of them appear on Shipspotting, such as the RIACHAO (IMO 7434494), and though the mystery vessel has seen some additions to the deckhouse and stacks, it is clearly one of the vessels of that design.

Great photo's Robbie. These OSV's are quite impressive up close and depending also on what they have on their working deck. I think she's still involved with the Greenlink project off the west coast of Wales and Southern Ireland along with two other OSV's (9492581 / 9695963) & a handful of ex fishing vessels (7521091).

I've always found Maersk liveries eye-catching particularly when fresh out of dry dock.

That looks like a seriously dodgy paint-scheme haha,ha. I wonder if that was applied "on-the-hoof" as they say.
